With your permission we get access to Xero and your practice software, and ask your old bookkeeper for anything we need.

We check your file, fix anything outstanding and take over from an agreed date, so no BAS is missed.

Do I have to talk to my old bookkeeper?
No. Once you let them know you're moving on, we can contact them directly for anything we need.
Can I switch in the middle of a quarter?
Yes. We agree a start date with you, check what has and hasn't been lodged, and make sure the next BAS is covered.
What if my file is a mess?
That's common when someone switches. We review it and give you a fixed quote to clean it up first. See our Xero catch up and clean up service.
Do I need to change software?
We work in Xero. If you're on another system, we can move you across as part of the switch.

I'm Nathan, a Newcastle local with a finance degree from the University of Newcastle. I spent four years at a Newcastle chartered accounting firm, and it gave me a strong grounding in tax, compliance and how small businesses really run. Along the way I noticed many owners wanted more regular support with their numbers during the year, not just at tax time. So in 2015 I became a Registered BAS Agent and started Stream, to give small business owners the kind of accounts team usually reserved for big business.
Today your books are handled by our bookkeeping team, who follow the same documented process for every client, and I oversee the quality of the work. Matching Medicare, NDIS and health fund payments was taking our team 40+ hours a month, so I co-founded Remittance Go to automate it. Our clients get the benefit.
